| The Flushing Sai Center was mentioned in the Macedonia African Methodist Episcopal Church's Jan 2012 Newsletter in recognition of it's community service of periodically providing food, clothes, toys to the Soup Kitchen as well as the Narayana SEVA that was offered on Swami's Birthday (Nov 23, 2011) where winter kits were served to members of the community. Welcome to the Sathya Sai Baba Center of Flushing, New York
Our website, ssbcflushing.org, is a humble attempt to share Sri Sathya Sai Baba's universal teachings and communicate important information about our center's activities to members and other spiritual aspirants.
The Sathya Sai Baba Center of Flushing, New York endeavors to provide a meeting place where spiritual aspirants of all faiths, races and walks of life can meet together to study and practice the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and take part in selfless service in accordance with the principles laid out by Him.
Sai Baba says: ‘Service to man is service to God’. Man is not merely a human being, he is the embodiment of Divinity. Since God is the indwelling source of all living beings, doing service or good to a person is in reality, worshiping God Himself. Sai Baba emphasizes the need for all of us to realize the brotherhood of man and the fatherhood of God. Only through selfless service and love can we embark on this journey from "I" to "We" thus realizing the unity among one and all.
Irrespective of caste, creed, religion, nationality or language, we work together in unison by comprehending the four principles laid down by Bhagawan Baba, namely:
There is only One religion, the religion of Love
There is only One caste, the caste of humanity
There is only One language, the language of the Heart
There is only One God, He is omnipresent.
With immense love and devotion, we dedicate this website at the Lotus feet of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
